Along with the Oman National Day celebrations, Dubai is also hosting live entertainment - offering a world-class lineup of live performances to close out the year. The city’s stages will host some of the Arab world’s most iconic voices, making it the ultimate destination for music lovers this season. Legendary Egyptian pop star Amr Diab takes the stage at Coca-Cola Arena on 1 November, followed by the beloved Kuwaiti group Miami Band on 3 November. Romantic music lovers can also catch Lebanese singer Elissa live at Dubai Opera on the same day. Later in the season, enjoy an unforgettable night with Egyptian music icon Angham at Coca-Cola Arena on 12 December.
KEY DUBAI CALENDAR EVENTS
Dubai’s vibrant events calendar continues to offer unforgettable experiences just a short trip from Oman, with something for every interest and age group. Fitness enthusiasts can get involved in the ever-popular Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) from 1–30 November. With free fitness villages, classes, and community events across the city, it’s an unmissable celebration of health and wellbeing for all ages and abilities. Major events include the Dubai Ride on 2 November, which sees Dubai’s roads transformed into a giant cycling track, including the iconic 12km Sheikh Zayed Road Route. The Dubai Run returns, also on Sheikh Zayed Road, for its seventh edition on 23 November 2025, for runners of all ages and abilities and attracts runners from all over the world.
Shoppers can look forward to the return of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) from 5 December – 11 January, bringing six weeks of exciting citywide activations, live concerts, and unbeatable retail offers. Meanwhile, Expo City Dubai is hosting Al Wasl Season, a six-month cultural celebration running until 2 May 2026, bringing together family-friendly events, performances, and artistic experiences under the record-breaking Al Wasl Dome.
