Muscat, 6 July 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to nurturing national talent and building the next generation of banking professionals, ahlibank recently celebrated the graduation of its 2025 cohort, comprising more than 70 graduates from across its talent development programs. The graduates completed the bank's flagship initiatives, namely Himam, iGeneration, and the Business Graduates Program (BGP), each designed to build the skills, perspectives, and practical experience needed to succeed in an evolving financial landscape. The ceremony brought together ahlibank's executive team, business leaders, and graduates to mark another milestone in the bank's long-standing investment in human capital development.

Commenting on the occasion, Qais Al Hasni, AGM - Head of Human Resources at ahlibank, said, “At ahlibank, we believe that building a resilient and future-ready organization begins with investing in people. Our commitment to developing local talent is rooted in empowering individuals with the confidence, capabilities, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the nation's progress. The strongest organizations are built not only by the services they provide, but by the people they inspire and develop along the way. By creating an environment that encourages learning, innovation, and personal growth, we are investing in future leaders who will help shape both the banking sector and the wider economy. We are proud of what this year's graduates have achieved, and we remain committed to supporting their continued growth and success.”

The bank's three development programs are designed to create structured pathways for emerging professionals through a combination of learning, mentorship, and hands-on professional experience. Himam equips promising young Omanis with the knowledge, practical exposure, and leadership capabilities needed to build successful careers in banking. Complementing this, iGen focuses on developing future-ready digital and technical competencies while fostering a culture of innovation and fresh thinking. Meanwhile, the Business Graduates Program aims to equip national talent at ahlibank to lead the banking sector by combining practical experience with specialized professional development, enabling them to take on high-impact and specialized roles across the bank’s various divisions.

These programs reflect ahlibank's continued contribution to the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, particularly those focused on strengthening national capabilities and fostering a dynamic, competitive economy. Through sustained investment in workforce development and institutional capability, the bank is helping cultivate the expertise needed to support the future growth of Oman's financial sector while reinforcing the role of the private sector in advancing the Sultanate's development priorities.

As ahlibank continues to evolve alongside a rapidly changing financial landscape, investing in the potential of Omani youth remains central to its long-term strategy. Through initiatives that foster knowledge, adaptability, and professional excellence, the bank is strengthening its ability to embrace future opportunities while creating lasting value for the communities it serves.
