Committed to cultivating a future-ready workforce of young Omani professionals equipped to lead and innovate, National Finance, the Sultanate of Oman's leading finance and leasing company, continues to advance its flagship Miras Graduate Program, designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional employment. Since its launch in January 2026, the program has reached a significant milestone, with its inaugural cohort of 10 high-potential Omani graduates successfully completing seven development modules as part of a structured 12-month journey.

As the first finance company in the nation to introduce a dedicated graduate development program, National Finance continues to reaffirm its commitment to nurturing young talent and strengthening the nation's human capital pipeline. Through a comprehensive curriculum that combines technical training, hands-on workplace experience, mentorship, and professional development, the Miras Graduate Program equips graduates with the practical skills, industry knowledge, and confidence needed to transition to the professional world and contribute meaningfully to the country’s evolving workforce.

Commenting on the ongoing success of the Miras program, Mr. Tariq Sulaiman Al Farsi, Chief Executive Officer at National Finance, remarked, “Our ambition is not only to develop skilled professionals, but to cultivate the next generation of leaders who will contribute meaningfully to the Sultanate of Oman’s future economy. At National Finance, we see graduate development as a long-term investment in both our company and the nation's future. Through Miras, we are providing aspiring professionals with meaningful workplace experiences that empower them to build successful careers and contribute to the nation’s economic progress in line with the ambitions of Oman Vision 2040.”

The Miras Graduate Program delivers a comprehensive 12-module curriculum, with ten workshops facilitated by the program’s training partner and two led by National Finance’s internal subject matter experts. Participants develop a strong foundation in areas including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Control, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), workplace ethics, financial literacy, and AI-enabled business practices, while strengthening key capabilities such as self-leadership, business acumen, teamwork, communication, client excellence, innovation, resilience, and effective decision-making. Complementing the workshops are six one-on-one coaching sessions, providing each participant with personalized guidance and continuous support throughout their learning journey. In addition to the training modules, graduates gain hands-on experience through practical placements across various departments within the company, enhancing their professional expertise and equipping them to integrate into the workplace with confidence and efficiency.

Youth empowerment remains a strategic priority for National Finance and is deeply embedded within the company's people development philosophy. Beyond the Miras Graduate Program, the company continues to invest in initiatives that promote learning, professional growth, and leadership development, creating opportunities for young Omanis to realize their full potential. Through its commitment to employee development, National Finance has established itself as an employer of choice, fostering an inclusive workplace culture where talent is nurtured, empowered, and equipped for long-term success.

Aligned with Oman Vision 2040 and National Finance's broader ESG strategy, the Miras Graduate Program reflects the company's ongoing commitment to developing national capabilities and supporting sustainable economic growth. By strengthening the employability of young graduates and cultivating a new generation of skilled professionals, the company continues to play a meaningful role in advancing Omanization and contributing to the nation's long-term development objectives.
