Marking another significant milestone in its growth journey, National Finance, the Sultanate of Oman’s largest finance and leasing company, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Best Performing Company 2026 – Large Cap’ award at the Alam Al-Iktisaad Best Performing Companies Awards 2026. The recognition reflects the company’s sustained financial performance, disciplined execution and operational strength, underpinned by a clear focus on responsible innovation, customer-centric growth and long-term value creation. The award was presented by H.E. Sheikh Dr. Ali Masoud Al Sunaidi, Advisor at the Diwan of Royal Court, and received on behalf of National Finance by Mr. Ahmed Al Mawali, Head of Retail and SMEs.

The recognition comes against the backdrop of strong financial momentum, reflecting National Finance’s ability to translate its strategic priorities into tangible business performance. For the six-month period ended 30 June 2026, the company delivered an operating profit before provision and tax of RO 15 million, up 23.19% from RO 12.18 million in the corresponding period of 2025, while profit after tax rose 15.18% to RO 8.08 million, compared with RO 7.02 million a year earlier. Net Investment in Lease grew 5.12% to RO 686.15 million compared with December 2025, underscoring the continued expansion of the company’s financing portfolio and its capacity to support growing demand across the retail, SME and corporate segments.
