Over July 20 and 21, the international cargo vessels Sea Patris and Silver Queen docked at Hai Phong Port to transport more than 5,000 VinFast electric vehicles to European and regional markets. These mark VinFast’s 37th and 38th dedicated export shipments in less than four years since the Company exported its first batch of 999 vehicles to international markets.

The two international cargo vessels, Sea Patris and Silver Queen, arrived at MPC Port in Hai Phong on July 20 and 21, respectively. Both are Roll-on/Roll-off (RORO) vessels, purpose-built with ramps that allow vehicles to be driven directly on and off the ships.

Sea Patris, a Luxembourg-flagged vessel, docked in the early hours of July 20 to load approximately 1,500 VinFast VF 6 electric vehicles. The shipment was manufactured exclusively for GSM to support Green SM’s upcoming expansion plans across European markets.

Painted in VinFast’s signature red and white livery and prominently featuring VinFast branding across its exterior, Sea Patris is the second dedicated vessel used to transport VinFast vehicles to Europe and other international markets.

After completing loading operations at MPC Port, Sea Patris departed on the morning of July 21. The vessel is scheduled to call at Nansha Port in China before continuing to Morocco and is expected to arrive at the Port of Koper in Slovenia by late August 2026, subject to weather conditions. From there, the vehicles will be transported to GSM’s target markets to support the expansion of the Vietnamese all-electric ride-hailing platform across Europe.

Shortly after departing MPC Port, Sea Patris crossed paths with Silver Queen, a Panama-flagged vessel entering Lan Ha Bay to load more than 3,500 VinFast electric vehicles bound for the Philippines and Indonesia. Silver Queen is also a dedicated RORO vessel under VinFast’s long-term charter agreement and features the same VinFast red and white livery and branding as Sea Patris.

Since its first shipment in late 2022, Silver Queen has transported 20 consignments of VinFast vehicles, delivering tens of thousands of units to international markets including the United States, Canada, the Philippines, and Indonesia. In addition, VinFast has chartered 16 other RORO vessels to export its vehicles worldwide.

The vessel’s arrival at Hai Phong Port on July 21 marks Silver Queen’s 21st voyage transporting vehicles for VinFast. After completing loading operations, the vessel is expected to arrive at Batangas Port in the Philippines and Jakarta, Indonesia, in August 2026 to deliver vehicles to both markets.

VinFast’s decision to charter additional dedicated international cargo vessels reflects the strong global growth of both VinFast and GSM. To date, VinFast has established a presence in more than 10 international markets, including key markets such as the United States, Canada, Europe, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the Middle East. Meanwhile, Green SM has expanded its operations to Laos, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Kazakhstan, with plans to enter several European countries in the near future.

The rapid international expansion of VinFast and GSM is not only a testament to the success of both brands, but also reflects Vietnam’s growing contribution to global decarbonization efforts and the green transition. VinFast and GSM are bringing more environmentally-friendly mobility solutions to consumers around the world while demonstrating the capabilities, quality, and global competitiveness of Vietnam’s electric vehicle industry.
